The plot made little sense but the viewer still has to watch

I remember watching this episode in my childhood and being scared by the script. The ghost town ,the old men, the skeleton- it all was freaky. But today as I watch the show I remember more about the ending when Lucas tells Mark that they are indeed rich.

Micah wants to visit a mining town where he grew up that now has become a ghost town. So Lucas and Mark ride along as they enter a town that is only occupied by a older man, Mr Newman, and his son Herbert. But from the very beginning we believe there is someone else in the town. However the only person that notices this fact is Mark. Lucas and Micah tells Mark that it is the wind or the old town playing tricks.

Now here comes the freaky part, Mr Newman use to have three sons. However due to a cave-in at the mine he lost two of his sons and the only one that escaped was Herbert. When Mark gets lost in the mine he stumbles on a skeleton after being chased by a unknown person. Lucas finally finds Mark and notices that the dead man had been stabbed. All of the sudden a hairy man jumps from the shadows and attacks Lucas. There is a secret in the town that has been hidden from Mr Newman for many years.

The story really did not make much sense but the interest in who was the other person in town keeps the viewer watching. When the story ends not much has really been changed but we do get a regular nice conversation between Lucas and Mark to end the show.
