Storyline

Lucas McCain is thrilled to see that his oldest and best friend Lariat Jones has come North Fork and may settle there permanently. Lariat is a professional gambler, thoroughly honest and principled. He's gotten mixed up with a couple crooks however who have convinced him to become a partner in a new gambling hall for the town. Despite their assurances to the contrary, Lariat's new partners have no intention of running an honest gaming house which leads to an inevitable confrontation. Written by garykmcd

Chuck Connors and Richard Anderson make a great team in this episode
10 August 2013 | by See all my reviews

Richard Anderson is excellent as an old friend of Lucas, Lariat Jones, that happens upon North Fork. Lariat is a card shark that can do about anything with a deck of cards. When he teams up with two men to open a casino in North Fork, Lucas worries that his friend will be apart of a group that will cheat money out of the cowboys around town. This was not the person that Lucas knew many years ago.

But when the house loses a lot of money the other men in the team want Lariat to get their money back. And getting it back by any means possible.

Chuck Connors and Richard Anderson made a nice team in this episode. They appeared so comfortable together that it would have been nice to see them together again in another show. Even though this was rather predictable outcome- it still was interesting enough to hold the attention of viewers to the very end. Good Watch
