Lucas helps George, and Mark, learn that there are different kinds of fear. George finds that he is not the coward that he thinks he thought he was.—Charles Delacroix
- Lucas and Mark try to help George Collins a man who it seems is afraid of everything around him. George admits that he's been a disappointment to his family and actually decided to go West in the hope that the experience would toughen him up. Until recently he was working as a cook on a cattle trail but his meek and mild manner only seemed to arouse the bullying instincts of some of the men around him, especially Buddy Link whose diminutive stature only made his shame greater. When Lucas intervenes to stop Buddy from beating up George, Buddy and his cronies visit the McCain ranch intent on teaching Lucas a lesson. It's up to George to do something about it.—garykmcd
