Storyline

Al Walker, a notorious gunfighter, has come to North Fork to die. He has an incurable illness and, since he had once been a wealthy and prominent lawyer, believes he owes it to his family to have his death certificate read "natural causes" instead of "killed in gunfight". However, the Porter brothers--a gang of vicious killers and bank robbers--have followed him to town and plan to take their revenge on Walker for killing their brother, and they'll stop at nothing and no one in order to do it. Trivia

Lucas McCain does his best basketball no-look pass (he played professionally for the Boston Celtics and Rochester Royals) to Al Walker (John Dehner) as Walker walks to the window in the dimly lit Marshal's office. Lucas throws Walker's pistol up in the air without looking as Walker walks up from behind. Walker reached out quickly and caught the pistol before it hit the ground. A good bit of choreography. The more I see John Dehner - the more respect for the actor.

Micah has left a local, Ben, in charge of the town when he had to transport a prisoner to a nearby city. Little did Micah know that a famous gunfighter, Al Walker (John Dehner), was riding into North Fork with a mission. Al Walker has basically takes over the saloon and pays for all the cowpokes to drink as he plans the mission of his lifetime.

Lucas and Mark arrive on the stage from a short trip only to find that North Fork saloon has become a hot-bed of lawlessness. And with the temporary Marshall afraid to act, Lucas will take it upon himself to have a talk with the famous Al Walker.

It seems that Walker is suffering from a sickness and does not plan on living much longer. He has come to the town of North Fork so that he can die from 'natural causes'. But when three of the Porter boys come riding into town to kill Walker, his hope for a natural cause death may be in jeopardy.

A fine western story that was entertaining the entire half hour. Cannot say that there was anything surprising in the story yet it still made for an interesting watch. John Dehner was again excellent as the criminal seeking some kind of asylum from his past life and Lucas helping by giving him the benefit of the doubt. A nice story with nice acting.
