A spy is sent to North Fork to discredit Lucas.
13 July 2013 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

In this episode there are two towns competing for the railroad to build through their town. However the town that is vying against North Fork has sent a mole to make sure that their chances will be much better.

Dave Stafford, a likable man by many, is sent into North Fork as the mole that claims to have connections with the railroad. He wants to be chosen as the man that will represent North Fork in the dealings of the railroad but really is working for the other town. But when Lucas is chosen instead of Dave a new direction has to be made.

A man enters North Fork with the last Will and Testament of a familiar train robber named Wade Joyner. The robber leaves $500 to Lucas McCain. Now the townsfolk are leery about sending Lucas to meet with the railroad.

There really is nothing remarkable about this episode but it was still a classic nice story. This is a plot that is played out in about every show since the beginning of TV, yet placing the story in the town of North Fork still made it interesting. Good watch.
