Even with some odd situations- still played out well.

By some fancy writing, a New Orleans boss has been thrown out of town and with no back-story finally ends up in North Fork at the McCain's ranch. Now this boss, Tiffauges, believes in the old way of doing things which is mostly by intimidation. He has a small troop riding with him that he keeps in line by means of a whip.

When he rides to the McCain ranch, he somehow wants to purchase the farm. But of course Lucas is not selling. With Tiffauges always getting his way he set an ultimatum before him and his troops show Lucas some New Orleans justice.

I found it difficult to get past a fancy-man riding all the way from New Orleans to the New Mexico Territory but the script did did make for an interesting story. The plot had an interesting concept which played out well toward the end. Perhaps not the most entertaining episode in the lot but one that made for a nice watch.
