Mark McCain: I sure was wrong not believin' Colly's story.
Lucas McCain: That may be, son, but you weren't as wrong as some of the older people in town who should have known better.
Mark McCain: Well, maybe in some ways they could use a little growin' up, too.
Marshal Micah Torrance: In one way or another, Mark, we could all stand a little growin' up.
Mark McCain: Well, that don't include you and Pa.
Lucas McCain: Yes, son - us too.

The town is upset when an outlaw is shot in the back.
8 February 2014 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

A ranch-hand named Colly Vane (Robert Culp) stumbles up on a camp fire and notices that the man at the fire is a notorious outlaw 'The Domino Kid' that has a price on his head. Colly is able to shoot the outlaw before he can reach for his gun and takes the body into North Fork for the reward.

When he takes the body to the Marshal's office the townsfolk turn on Colly when they notice the outlaw was shot in the back. Colly loses his job and is thrown out of his rented apartment. Things get worse when three friends of 'The Domino kid' ride into town to revenge the outlaws death. With the three men looking for Colly, Lucas seems to be the only friend that Colly has left.

This episode is unique that it features Mark on two occasions talks back to Lucas. At one point Lucas is so upset that he sends Mark to bed without supper. The episode seemed quick with the thirty minute format but was enjoyable enough to produce a fine show. Good watch.
