What book?!

This episode of "Richard Diamond", "Hoodlum", features Alan Reed--the man who later was the voice of Fred Flintstone. It begins with a couple tough guys waiting for Diamond in his office. They announce that Diamond must give them some book or he's a dead man. However, he has no idea what they are talking about and he certainly doesn't want to die. So, he goes to their boss, Trumble (Reed) and tries to convince him that he has no idea what they want and has never heard of any book. Trumble INSISTS that Diamond knows and he has until tonight to produce it...or die. He also tells Diamond not to even bother with the cops--as he'll produce many, many witnesses who will lie for him! What's Diamond to do?

This is a pretty taut episode with a very violent ending. While it's not the best show in the series, it's a very good one and packs a nice punch.
