Storyline

Steele and Laura are hired to track down Veronica Kirk, a former B movie actress from the 1940s. When the actress is located, she informs them that someone is trying to kill her. Initially, all of Kirk's claims are discredited, and it appears that the aging actress is as crazy as Kirk's daughter claims, but as additional clues surface, Steele and Laura realize that someone really is out to get her. Steeling the Show
13 December 2017 | by See all my reviews

Peter Jurasik shows his scene stealing capabilities as an unscrupulous film producer plotting the comeback of veteran Veronica Kirk, a former B movie queen but now in retirement.

This episode merges Remington Steele love of the movies as he and Laura are hired to track down Veronica Kirk who tells them that someone is trying to kill her. She might be crazy but Remington gets himself sectioned at an asylum for this case.

An enjoyable enough mystery which keeps you guessing. Murphy rather liked taking Steele to the asylum.
