When Laura is competing in a triathelon, during the bicycle portion of the event, she is accosted by two men on bikes. To escape, she jabs her bicycle's air pump in the spokes of one of the men's bicycle wheels, losing it in the process but when she finishes the bicycle portion, the pump is back on the bicycle.
