Goofs

Steele abruptly marries Laura at the end with an INS agent present in order to keep him from being deported. The INS agent tells Steele she will certify the marriage as genuine even though she had also witnessed Steele's attempt to marry another woman earlier the same day. No INS agent would believe such a marriage conducted at the last minute - by a fishing boat captain, no less - could possibly be legitimate. Furthermore, it would have been impossible for Steele to have gotten a new marriage license so quickly (the one he did have was for the first woman he tried to marry). See more »
