Goofs

The stone pentagram in the woods is shown in the opening shot, in 1692. Later, Nigel says, "It's actually a very powerful Wiccan symbol". The amulet is also from the 1600s. Wiccans do use the pentagram, but they could *not* have made neither the stone pentagram nor the amulet, as Wicca is a *modern* pagan religion that was only developed in England in the first half of the 1900s. Into the Pentagram
14 December 2014 | by (Hamburg, Germany) – See all my reviews

A student finds a 17th century amulet that once belonged to a witch and gives it to her roommate Meg. Its powers are somewhat too strong, so Meg has to go to hospital. After Sydney visited Meg, she's really worried. She also discovers a pentagram on a stone in the woods and then asks Zanda, an expert on witchcraft, a strange lady with purple glasses, about the amulet and what danger it may cause. To make things worse, another student thinks he could use the powers of the amulet and takes it from Karen. Sydney and Nigel go looking for a book of spells that once belonged to the same witch as the amulet, believing that a solution could somehow present itself.

Thin story on the lines of horror movies like „Scream if you know what I did Friday the 13th" or whatever with the usual bunch of clichés about witches, magic and students. Seen it all before.
