Trapped with the pharaohs
29 April 2014 | by (Hamburg, Germany) – See all my reviews

Back in 1924, a director shot a silent movie in Egypt and decided to take a few genuine antiquities home, hidden between the newly built props. In our time, Sydney Fox discovers some marvelous items while working as technical adviser on a movie. When Sydney contacts the director's granddaughter, she claims not to know anything about it. Nigel and Sydney start further investigations in Egypt, where they are quickly arrested on a wrong accusation. Who is trying to get them out of the way? Claudia meanwhile has to replace them at the movie production - without any clue how to give historical advice, she puts forward her own ideas.

Interesting history and crime story with a satirical view on the movie business and funny moments for Lindy Booth – a very entertaining episode.
