Nigel is not too keen on work, he is wasting days and nights kissing his sweet French girlfriend Nicole. So Sydney has got to rack her brains about their weekly task. The third French episode tells the story of a marriage certificate from the French revolution in 1789 which could help to avoid that a village is destroyed. While Sydney is away, Claudia has to pretend Sydney didn't leave the college and Claudia proves to be very creative.
Not one of the best stories in Season 1, but it is well directed, not too slow moving, and the guests stars are cast perfectly, namely the butler "Frankenstein" (Tim Perrin), whose appearances are accompanied by sinister organ chords, the bearded lawyer Hugo (Michel Modo) and of course the above mentioned Nicole (Elsa Kikoine).
