Storyline

When Nigel is charmed by brilliant student Lorraine to show her their offices (and kiss), a burglar knocks out Sidney, but what was robbed? They find out in Madrid, where Professor Lamenza invited them to follow the trail of the Spanish crown hidden from Napoleons army by Carlos IV, the necessary filters to read lemon ink have been switched, and Lorraine is actually Reena, who has teamed up with her lover Raoul to get the crown which everyone goes in search of in Andalusia, while trying to get rid of the others. Goofs

The train Sydney and Nigel travel in to Seville is a steam powered machine with wooden cabins typical of the late 19th century and early 20th century. Presuming they flew to Madrid, they would have to use the high speed line to Seville that opened in 1992 and this train is clearly not. The same interior is later used for the short distance train to Utrera, whose exterior is also far too modern to be the same train. See more »

Real jewels, false hunters
20 December 2014 | by (Hamburg, Germany) – See all my reviews

A crown which was hidden in Spain 1808 has to be found. A rival team of relic hunters arrives at Sevilla, pretending to be Sydney Fox and Nigel Bailey. They take the information leading to the treasure from a professor and shoot him. When the real Sydney Fox and Nigel Bailey arrive, they become murder suspects. Their only chance to prove their innocence is catching the bad guys before the police catches them. The false Nigel Bailey is meanwhile trying to ditch the false Sydney Fox so he can keep the jewels for himself.

This is an average episode with a typical story, hunting for a relic against criminal competitors. However, it is speedily narrated and has a couple of funny moments, for example when the driver of the cabriolet is pushed out of the car by the false Sydney ('Adios!').
