Trivia

Red Skelton's character Clem Kadiddlehopper identifies himself several times as Clem Kadiddlehopper, Jr. Series announcer Art Gilmore makes a rare on-screen appearance portraying (naturally) an announcer on a TV show Clem is producing. Longtime Skelton show director Seymour Berns appears as himself in the Clem TV show sketch. In a pre-main sketch skit, Red mimes a grandfather and his grandson watching a baseball game through a knothole in the fence. When he introduces this skit, Red identifies it as 'A Valentina Special.' Valentina is Red's daughter. See more »
