Safeway in Texas
21 June 2007 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

I enjoyed this episode because Van finally confronted his parents about them disowning him unless he left his wife (and baby). But, the way they make Van so completely dense sometimes makes me fear for the intelligence of poor Elizabeth. Cheyenne is always written as a ditz with an occasional flash of intelligence, while the same is true of Van. He's going to "learn to mow" in order to make money for rent; yet in the later episodes, he's the real estate genius! One error I saw was when Brock took Kyra to that "tea house" and the waitress mentioned that the jelly was from England. Kyra replied "get over yourself, it's from Safeway". Safeway is called RANDALLS in Texas.
