On location at the San Diego Zoo, the crew planned to shoot the title book's introductory wrap with a group of goats surrounding LeVar and trying to nibble on the book. The zoo staff told the crew and LeVar that goats didn't really eat paper (or everything that they saw). This was merely a myth. So in order to get the goats to stand near LeVar, the producer hid corn in all of his pockets. Not only did the goats hungrily attack him but they also munched the paperback copy of the title book that was in his back pocket.
