The Same Old Grind!
7 April 2015 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

I really got a kick out of this. Jean Stapleton (Edith Bunker from "All in the Family) is an eccentric old woman. She is rich and keeps her money in her bedroom. Also occupying the house is her granddaughter and her worthless, unemployed plumber husband. He has one interest: to get his hands on that money. He has an ongoing feud with her pets, a canary, a black cat, and little white dog. One day he brings home the mother of all garbage disposals. It is loud and incredibly powerful. She is convinced that he is going to use it on her pets and then on her. The delight of this story is the way everything plays out. I won't introduce any spoilers. Stapleton is a great actress and she really shines in this episode.
