Live from Wheeling, VA

Ken Shamrock & Steve Blackman Vs The Rock & Farooq

It ends in a no-contest after The Nation gets involved. The Rock wants Shamrock for himself, so Farooq lets him have him. Shamrock turns the tables and puts the ankle lock on The Rock. The Nation just watches because Farooq orders them not to help. This was furthering the storyline of The Rock becoming leader of The Nation.

Oh god, they gave Triple H a mic. Something they did WAY too much of over the years. He says discretion will be completely ignored. He says Shawn Michaels isn't here tonight. He shows a replay over and over of HBK superkicking Stone Cold from last week. Shawn appears on the titantron from Texas. He brags about superkicking Austin. He knows Austin will be full of P*** and Vinegar and will brag about beating everyone up. He says Austin is nothing but a fad and hasn't shown him anything new. Shawn will always be the WWF. He doesn't lay down for anybody and he will remain champion after Wrestlemania.

European Title

Owen Hart (C) Vs Barry Windham

Windham wins by countout after Chyna lowblows Owen. Bradshaw attacks Windham after the match. I hate how one-sided and horribly booked the feud between Helmsley and Owen was. The match was OK.

Paul Bearer is with Jerry Lawler and Kane backstage. The Undertaker plays some of his voodoo mind tricks.

Aguila (W/Taka Michinoku) Vs Brian Christopher (W/Jerry Lawler)

Aguila wins by DQ after Lawler interferes. This was pretty average stuff. I'm not a big fan of Christopher. Never have been, never will.

Stone Cold makes his way to the ring without any music. He is angry at Vince for calling Mike Tyson the baddest man on the planet. He says it's a slap in the face and he's insulting Austin. He's willing to hold the show hostage until Vince comes out and sorts this mess out. He calls Vince a yellow bastard and says he knows he's back there. Jim Ross tries to reason with Austin, but Austin tells him to sit his ass back down before he stomps a mudhole in him. Gerald Brisco and Jack Lanza come out. He threatens to beat them up and bring Vince out. A loud Austin chant starts up. Sgt. Slaughter comes out. He says nothing will happen to Austin because of the main event at Wrestlemania 14. Vince refuses to come out. The crowd CONTINUES to chant Austin's name. He is ridiculously over. More people try to get him out and he threatens to whip Pat Patterson's ass. Vince finally comes out. He says he's the toughest SOB in the world. It makes him sick that Vince was doing jumping jacks and blowing smoke up Tyson's ass. He says Vince is trying to provoke him and P** on him. Vince says Baddest Man on the Planet is a figure of speech. Austin gives Vince the middle finger and says that's a figure of speech. Classic! He says Vince doesn't want him to be WWF Champion. He tells Vince to take his best shot at him. He begs Vince to hit him and rips his shirt. Vince won't budge, so Austin tells him to leave. He's gonna kick Triple H's ass later tonight. Amazing segment.

Cactus Jack & Chainsaw Charlie Vs The Quebecers

Cactus and Funk win. The New Age Outlaws get one over on Foley and Funk after the match. Meh

*1/4 out of 5

Undertaker plays mind games on Kane by having the lights going out and appearing, then disappearing in the ring.

Marc Mero (W/Sable) Vs Goldust (W/Luna Vachon)

Sable and Luna are handcuffed to the ringpost. Mero wins by DQ. Goldust and Luna paint Sable's face after.

3/4* out of 5

Mike Tyson gives a very incoherent interview.

Triple H Vs Savio Vega

Stone Cold runs in and stuns everyone but the kitchen sink. Shawn Michaels appears from out of nowhere and delivers Sweet Chin Music to Austin. Raw goes off the air with a cliffhanger, just as it looks like HBK is gonna level Austin with a chair. Man, I miss these days.
