One that I remember well

Jungle Terror was one of the first Ramar episodes that I watched on television in the 1950's. It involved a plane that crashed near the Ogomis tribe, a very hostile tribe reputed to be cannibals. The three in the plane, Mr. Davis, Mr. Peters, and Mary were well-dressed, so they appeared to be conducting some sort of enterprise. The Ogomis thought them to be gods, coming out of the sky, but gave them rather tasteless food, in a "pig pen", then confined them under guard in ANOTHER pig pen which was worse. Charlie got help in rescuing the captives, whom the Ogomis wanted as entrée for their cannibal meal; he baited the drunken trader Wilkins, who inebriated the guards. Mr. Davis was rightfully alarmed at the tom-toms, but Mr. Peters was MORE worried as the revelry was no ordinary celebration. Mr. Davis and Mary escaped but Mr. Peters (whose surname is same as mine)was burned alive as he tried to retrieve the gold statue. Ramar advised Mr. Davis and Mary to take care of themselves and try not to judge ALL the tribes by the standards of the Ogomis. All in all, a memorable Ra
