Warning: Spoilers
The Nesbitts are given a loan of a cottage in Loch Lomond for the weekend by their elderly neighbours and so off they set, taking Jamesie and Ella along with them. However, when they arrive they find the cottage run-down and comfortless. They even try getting into the spirit of things by attending a ceilidh at the local pub but it is a disaster. Jamesie gets completely drunk and, after getting into a fight with one of the locals, ends up going missing. And so begins the weekend from hell...

The opener to the second series of 'Rab C. Nesbitt' is a little cracker, boasting some great lines and and wonderful location shooting in Ardlui. Quite a few familiar faces show up here. Forbes Masson plays the smarmy proprietor of a fast food shop, 'Extras' and 'Ugly Betty' star Ashley Jensen appears as a young floozy whilst Lee Cornes ( for whom this was his second 'Rab' appearance ) appears as a hostile barman at the local village pub. Cornes also played a barman, the appropriately named 'Dick Head' in Rik Mayall and Ade Edmondson's top rated 'Bottom'.

Funniest bit- Rab and Jamesie are desperate for a pint but Jamesie says that unless they gather firewood, their wives will not let them go. Spotting an old dilapidated shed, Rab headbutts it, whereupon it collapses in a heap. Job done!

Second funniest bit- Rab squirting the fast food shop proprietor in the face with a water pistol!
