Episode #5.5
20 May 2012 | by (Canada) – See all my reviews

I absolutely hate how the story with baby custody is ending. Mel is annoying, she represents the huge majority of mothers with a newborn who think they are the only ones who know what to do. Her attitude towards Michael was disgusting. And this whole "the child should be with its mother" bs incredibly sexist and stupid. Makes me think that one of the writers of this story has rightfully been forced by court to share the custody with the dad and just can't get over it. It wasn't Michael's fault that the baby was sick, he didn't abandon her and he should indeed keep all the custody he deserves. Although it was nice to see Lindsay and Mel starting to get along again.

Hunter's story is absolutely great. Loved the scene at the parent's meeting where he shuts them up for being ignorant bigots.

I am glad Rosie will leave. I really didn't like her "in love" acting. The good part of their story was Debbie in the lesbian bar And about lesbian bar, the funniest part of the episode was Ted being mistaken for a woman! Emmett was as great as usually and a wonderful friend.
