Anachronisms

(at around 40 mins) While Sam is driving the blue station wagon, two later model cars (80s Mercedes Benz and an Audi / Volkswagen Fox) are viable. The Audi / VW has a CA license plate that was issued from 1982 - 1987.

Factual errors

The teaser has Sam leaping in during a "bra burning" rally. There is no contemporary evidence that any such event ever actually took place, anywhere. "Women's libbers" did at times symbolically throw bras in the trash, an image commonly conflated with men burning their draft cards. The powerful image (bra burning) that this conflation created has kept it in the public consciousness.
