Storyline

Acting independently of each other Doyle and Bodie pose as hitmen to infiltrate a mysterious group of assassins whose targets are all retired government officials. Bodie's hit, Liz Walsh, an old colleague of Cowley, colludes in her supposed death for the publicity and helps Cowley work out who could possibly want to get rid of a group of apparently insignificant people. MI6 interference also hampers the operation until Liz exposes a possible traitor. Written by don @ minifie-1

Trivia

This episode was the last to be filmed and ended with a cliffhanger: did Bodie and Doyle die from the blast when Dawson's boat exploded? However due to a scheduling error, the episode was shown mid-way through Season 5 instead of as the very last episode. See more »

Goofs

In the scene where Twig shoots Mitchell who falls in slow motion off his boat, the filming lights illuminating the scene can be seen flickering very prominently, due to beating between the mains frequency of the lights and the very high frame rate used to achieve the slow motion. They should have used DC-powered lights! See more »

Ferris: What's he doing?
George Cowley: Filling a bath... or, at least, half-filling it: we don't want to make a mess.
[Doyle picks up the telephone]
Doyle: Send Sparks down with his box of tricks.
Ferris: [terrified] What are you going to do?
