Storyline
| Plot Summary |
Vera finds Martha working alone in the garden; Melinda finds Bella's body murdered in the shower area. Police are brought in to investigate; Melinda's trial is the same day. She is found guilty but released on a good behavior bond for 3 years; she promptly asks Dr. Greg to perform an abortion. Bea and Monica are held in the cells on suspicion, and Noeline rummages through lockers and cabinets in the cells looking for fags, compacts, lighters, whatever... Karen is questioned by police and reveals Bella wore a chain around her neck with an expensive ring on it: a ruby surrounded with diamonds.
