Meg Morris: [on Joan] We do have to work with her, Colleen, and I'd prefer it if we weren't at odds all the time... I thought if we could get to know her better.
Colleen Powell: Get to know her better!
Meg Morris: We might, you know, understand her a little. Now how would you feel if I invited you both for dinner tomorrow night?
Colleen Powell: You're joking?
Meg Morris: No, I'm not! I mean you remember how awful Vera was, and then we found out she was simply lonely.
Colleen Powell: Joan is a different kettle of fish altogether from Vera. She is downright dangerous.
Meg Morris: Well, I'd like to try. I mean work is hard enough without all these extra pressures.
Colleen Powell: [reluctantly giving in] Oh alright. Though I don't think it's one of your best ideas.
