Alan Shore is a breath of fresh air for a show that had become increasingly lethargic. Everyone at this firm is such a stickler for the rules, it gets boring, so having someone to shake things up is good. But even him aside, this episode had an energy and fun to it that the show hasn't had since the early seasons. It was a better episode than the entirety of last season combined.

Glasses

Was this the only episode Alan wore glasses? I don't think I've seen him wear any glasses on Boston legal.

It's a New Show

Same old show; same basic plot. Just no Bobby or Lindsay. I have to say I did enjoy it. Once again we have a judge who hamstrings the defense. We really make these guys so evil in this show. Anyway, it's like a different show. I really believe the show was probably going to be cancelled and they figured to make a few more bucks.
