- Dustin: [holding out paper] Hey, Tori! Ah, check it out!
- Tori: [without reading it] Oh, Kelly's sponsoring you to go to the U.S. Action Games in freestyle.
- Dustin: Yeah. How'd you know?
- Tori: Showed me this morning.
- Dustin: Ah. Eh.
- Shane: [seeing Tori] Hey.
- [Blake and Hunter enter]
- Dustin: Hey, guys!
- Blake: Hey.
- Dustin: Guess what!
- Blake: Yeah, I know. U.S. Action Games, right? That's awesome.
- Dustin: What?
- Blake: [seeing Tori and Shane] Hey, guys.
- Dustin: Aw, so let me get this straight. Everybody knew except for me?
- Lothor: The Scroll of Destiny.
- Marah: Can I touch it?
- Lothor: No.
- Marah: Oh.
- Lothor: The scroll tells of my travels through time and space, recruiting the worst this galaxy has to offer then watching as they were destroyed one by one. Their energies are all preserved in a well-hidden place.
- Marah: The Abyss of Evil.
- Lothor: Yes, and now the time has come for them to be reborn, to emerge and take arms against the Power Rangers. I will lead them into battle, and then this planet will at last become mine!
- [the Samurai Amulet freezes]
- Sensei Guinea Pig: How has it reacted in the past?
- Cam: Well, once or twice it's gotten really warm, but that was only when something good happened.
- Sensei Guinea Pig: Interesting. One might conclude that...
- Cam: [realizing] ... since warmth comes from good, cold must come from bad or evil. I can't believe I didn't think of that. I must be losing my edge.
- Sensei Guinea Pig: Some concepts, though they may seem simple, are the most difficult, especially those that pertain to the powers of good and evil.
