J.R. Peters (George Maharis) has been a cop for quite a few years. His brother, Clay (Edward Albert) is a rookie...just out of the academy. Unfortunately, the two are paired up...and J.R. has requested this but their interaction is generally not very healthy. The older brother has a chip on his shoulder and the younger does as well. Can the two manage to work together and can Clay make it through his probationary period?
I have no idea if any police department, particularly a large one, would ever allow sibs to be partners. But it does make for an interesting episode and you can see both brothers are right...and wrong. As usual, very well written and well acted....and well worth your time. If you are interested in seeing it, the only way I know you can is on YouTube, as only season one ever came to DVD.
NOTE--Since writing this review, seasons 2 and 3 have been released to DVD.
