Interesting story
20 April 2007 | by (United Kingdom) – See all my reviews

I remember watching this play with interest. I was as interested in Jimmy's subsequent fate as well as his background as well as Billy's. Was 'history' repeating itself I wonder? One of the most memorable bits was the early morning bedroom scene where Jimmy clearly had a hangover from the previous night's clubbing and gave the distinct impression (although it wasn't officially part of the story so far as I'm aware) that he also needed to pee - as a guy might first thing in a morning after a beer or two the night before.

Jimmy's subsequent treatment in prison - being pushed and dropping a pile of metal bars - but somehow miraculously not injuring himself - was well portrayed and superbly acted.

I'm glad the story had a happy ending but I wonder if what happened to Billy reflected Jimmy's early experiences as well though. Also whether Jimmy was a bed wetter or not?
