Storyline

The annual county fair is soon approaching. Betty Jo is in charge of finding Hooterville High's cutest livestock contest entry, her choice of Everett the pig which doesn't go over well with her fellow committee members. Bobbie Jo will be singing in the talent contest, she who is concerned about her costume and keeping her vocal cords healthy until then. Uncle Joe is expecting to win all the prizes at the baseball throwing booth, which may result in a few broken windows at the hotel as he practices. And although she wasn't going to enter again, seven time cake baking winner Kate reconsiders when she learns that her arch enemy Cora Watson would probably win otherwise. Keeping whatever she will be baking as her entry a secret from all the other contestants is this year's challenge. Things don't look good for anyone from the hotel winning this year as Kate battles distraction after distraction while she tries to bake her cake, Uncle Joe's pitching arm doesn't seem to be very accurate, and...
