The series finale.

While I have watched most of the "Petrocelli" episodes lately and did enjoy them, I must admit that there were problems with the shows...the biggest of which was the sameness of most of the episodes. Just too many followed the same pattern....and considering that the show was up against two very hot TV shows at the same time, it's not surprising NBC gave it the axe. In fact, they were so disappointed with the show that they canceled it with several more episodes already completed. "Deadly Journey" in the final episode they aired.

When the show begins, Petrocelli sees an older woman walking towards town with a suitcase. He stops and drives the woman into town...and he and Pete are captivated by her, as she's very charming. However, as you'd expect in this series, she soon is being held for a murder! So, it's up to Petrocelli to determine the real killer and save this woman from prison.

This isn't a bad episode at all, but it's also not a brilliant one or one good enough to beat out "Starsky and Hutch" or "The Blue Knight" in the ratings...and yes, once again Petrocelli gets beaten up in the show!! Worth seeing but not among the best.
