The dates and ages of the supposed family founder, Caleb Stone I, and his great-grandson, Caleb Stone IV, are all messed up. The 1st is said to have died in 1957 at 88, but then is said to have been 80 in 1946. As for the fourth, he is said to be born in 1942, but then is said to be 17 in 1957.
When Perry and Paul arrive by taxicab to the orphanage in South Carolina, the nuns are walking children out, boys and girls. The sign outside does not mention only boys. Yet when they later sit with "Sister Teresa" and talk, she implies the place only houses boys. (She tells them she doesn't take pictures to protect the boys' privacy.)
Great Aunt Sofia calls her nephew Ernest's home from the phone in the library whilst "Mr. Brooks" (Caleb Stone IV) is washing up somewhere else. Then in the next scene she comes into the library from somewhere else, and in the library now "Mr. Brooks" has returned and is lounging eating sandwiches and drinking sherry wine. She tells him that she "just" spoke to her nephew Ernest's home, but she did that much earlier, and in that same library. Yet, the scene implies she called much later and from somewhere other than the library.
The diorama at the beginning of the episode makes it clear that there's a library, and another room, possibly a den or a study, elsewhere. She called from the library. He was in the other room.

On the DVD, the closing cast credits are all wrong. The character names and actors are from "The Case of the Sad Sicilian (1965)", from the eighth season.
When Caleb is in the library he opens a drawer and handles a pistol. Later, his aunt goes to the drawer and uses a cloth to pick up the pistol. The pistol is not part of the murder and does not come up again in the story so they must have changed the murder weapon and dropped the pistol handling.
