Eric Pollard is a successful businessman who has been behaving quite strangely lately. His marriage has started to break down after discovering that his wife is having an affair. He's prone to seizures where he loses consciousness and he begins to forget things that he only recently did or said. In one bizarre incident, he jumps into a taxi and orders the driver to take him to a bank, also announcing that he intends on robbing it. He's eventually convicted but accuses the probation supervisor Roy Galen, who is actually quite sympathetic to his case, of being the man having the affair with his wife. With an irate Pollard waiting to see him, Galen gets a call from Sybill Pollard while she is being assaulted. He rushes to the house only to find her dead and is arrested for her murder. Perry Mason defends him in court and unmasks the real killer. Written by garykmcd
