Milt Kamen and Vic Tayback
4 March 2014 | by See all my reviews

"Guess Who's Coming to Drive?" has Shirley declining to drive the bus during a grueling summer tour, so Reuben hires Johnny (Milt Kamen) to be the family bus driver. When Danny learns that Johnny is an ex-con, it's Reuben who winds up behind bars! Vic Tayback is back (previously seen in "Danny and the Mob," later seen in "Forgive Us Our Debits"), while Yvonne Wilder continues her string of wisecracking waitresses ("Mom Drops Out," "Road Song," "M is for the Many Things"). Hard to believe Yvonne is the same actress who credibly played the deaf mute in 1971's "The Return of Count Yorga," which credits her as co-writer. Both Milt Kamen and Naomi Stevens would appear in separate episodes of KOLCHAK: THE NIGHT STALKER. The featured song is "Rainmaker" (from the LP SOUND MAGAZINE), composed by Wes Farrell, Mike Appel, and Jim Cretecos.
