Parker vs... Mr. Tower (The teacher from hell)
18 June 2007 | by (San Diego, CA) – See all my reviews

Classic Parker Lewis in this episode. Parker is presented with a teacher (played by Dave Thomas) that rules his class with an iron fist. A quick side-note; It originally caught my eye in the credits seeing an actress named, "Anastacia C. Nemec" who in fact IS Corin's real life sister. Too bad they only popped her in for literally 1.5 seconds or so :P . Anywho a classic High School scenario plays out as Parker is stressed to the max from an unruly teacher, Annie, and a video project Jerry and Mikey have. Even Frank Lemmer who worships the class can't hack it and is pushed over the edge. Parker naturally has to come do something to save his own face as well as the rest of a class on the brink of disaster. As I've pointed out before I enjoy the good story episodes that are realistic and involve a witty and/or clever Parker. I don't know what the fascination with Joseph McCarthy is though. Every scene involving Mr. Tower's history class also involves a discussion of McCarthy. Maybe there's some underlying suggestion that Mr. Tower is a communist?
