Shelley falls in love with Brad Penny, and Kohler falls for Musso
16 June 2007 | by (San Diego, CA) – See all my reviews

Although the cast is pretty good in this episode (Appearances by Dr. Joyce Brothers and a young Brittany Murphy). I rated this episode relatively low due to the cheesiness. Parker gets worked over in more ways than one by Brad Penny again... Sigh. Completely forgetting about the whole Shelley and Jerry being a couple Shelley goes after Brad. What else was there? Oh yeah there is next to nil Jerry in the episode even though you'd think with Shelley after another guy he'd be a bigger presence. Mikey doesn't appear much either, but that is OK as his character isn't key to the episode. This episode was written without regards to the rest of the Parker Lewis universe which again gave me the reasoning for a lower rating. One of the only redeeming qualities is the funny side story between Kohler and Musso. Throughout the season Kohler is after Grace Musso and it lightens up those episodes. The flip side of that coin is with half the season focused on the summer and zero focus on the school Musso still appears in every single episode. I don't remember my Principals being around every day of my summers growing up. That was a while ago though ;-) .
