Storyline

Rebecca and Graham Highfield grieve after their young son Justin is killed in an accident. Graham thinks he has a solution however and asks Dr. Lucy Cole to retrieve some of Justin's brain and spinal cord cells with a view to having their son cloned. Rebecca is concerned by the proposal but eventually agrees. As her pregnancy progresses, she begins to have memory flashes where she sees things through Justin's eyes. Her doctor dismisses the idea that it's related to the pregnancy but Rebecca realizes she can communicate directly with the fetus. Justin's memories reveal he may not have died in an unfortunate accident. Written by garykmcd

Attack of the Baby Clone
29 April 2014 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

This is the story of an upwardly mobile politician who is shooting for a U.S. Senate seat. He and his wife have just lost a child. The husband reveals that there is a possibility of taking nerve tissue and body tissue to create a clone of the little boy. The mother resists this until she sees a computer program that shows the clone developing into an identical twin of the child they lost. Now the weird stuff starts. She has an in utero procedure and the child starts to grow inside her. What is even stranger is that the baby begins to develop the ability to communicate through a passageway in the umbilical cord. Also, the mother begins to have strange dreams that produce unsettling thoughts about her husband. The baby knows something. He kicks and punches and tries to tell her things from the womb. We get lots of shots of the little guy in the womb. He can actually wave to people when prompted (in an ultrasound). This leads to a violent conclusion. The episode is a bit much to swallow, but it does draw us into its world.
