A brilliant start to the seventh series of 'Only Fools and Horses'

With the marriage to Cassandra not worked out, Rodney is back at home. Cassandra is away with her Mother at the family villa in Spain. Boycie has had Bronco working in his house. Bronco is mentally unwell and has had a lot of bad luck. He lives in a Bed and Breakfast next to Gatwick Airport. He has been painting inside Boycie's (who is his Brother-in-law) house. Boycie has got a big satellite where any channel from around the world can be accessed (he intends to record some things off the Scandenavian channel for his clients). But it is stolen. Boycie comes to Del and tells him that he should keeps his eyes and ears open and if he has a chance to buy one, buy it and sell it to Boycie. Bronco gives him one. Rodney has booked a room at a top-notch hotel for him and Cassandra for when she gets back, near Gatwick airport, have a good night together and get there marriage going in the right direction again. All goes well, until Rodney hears that her flight has been re-directed to Manchester. Del is about to get his money from Boycie for the satellite, but Boycie tells him that the cleaner took his satellite away to be cleaned and has bought it back, so what is on Del's balcony. Watching the news, it turns out to be a radar transmitter dish for a plane. That's why Cassandra's flight had to be directed to Manchester. Then on the balcony, Del notices that the transmitter is making a strange noise. Then he sees a Jumbo Jet making its way towards Nelson Mandella House.

A great episode- John Sullivan got the idea when on a holiday to Portugal, he hadn't booked his seat properly, so he had to sit next to the pilot and they got talking about Radar Transmitters and he decided to come up with this plot. Sullivan reckons that this episode will never be repeated again due to the final scene of the plane heading towards Nelson Mandella House, due to the events of 9/11.

Best Bit: Rodney asks Albert to ring in sick for him at work: ALBERT: Hello, I'm calling on behalf of Rodney Trotter, what do you mean who is he... (to Rodney) who are you, RODNEY: The cheeky cow, tell her I'm the head, the head of the computer section, ALBERT: He's the head, the head of the computer section. Yeah that's him (he laughs really loud- Rodney looks horrified) Second Best Bit: Mike talking about the drunken antics of Rodney, Mikey and Jevon. MIKE: In here last night, running around pretending to be Ninja Turtles, had far too much to drink.
