However, possibly due to one of the Albanian radios Del has imported and is fitted in the coach there is a fire and an explosion and, due to a train strike, the party are forced to stay overnight. As it is a Bank Holiday accommodation is scarce and the Trotters find themselves in a creepy old guest house run by scary Mrs. Cresswell. Del and Rodney go to a club where they see magician the Great Ramondo and his assistant, Raquel, a former girl-friend of Del. Trivia

When David Jason starred in The Royal Bodyguard (2011), the show had an armorer who had served in Afghanistan with his platoon; they watched this episode to cheer themselves up, and it did. Jason was staggered and moved. When he watched it with them, he said "watching these wally-brains on the screen, mucking about, being ridiculously British, took those battered lads out of themselves. Somehow it lifted their morale out of the dust and it began to stand them the right way up again. It was the start of the healing process, after which they could go on. It made me realize that I had no idea how far what we did carried, and only the vaguest sense of its true repercussions. Yes, Only Fools was just a sitcom - and what could be more frivolous or irrelevant? You're just arsing about in front of a camera and getting paid to make yourself laugh. Yet what you do goes out there and has effects beyond any you could ever have imagined at the time". See more »

Goofs

When smoke is seen coming from the coach radio by Del and Boycie, Mike states that it's best to turn the radio off as the main petrol line runs right underneath it. This is incorrect in two ways. Firstly, the fuel line would run nowhere near the front of the coach as it is likely mid engined. Secondly, the coach would run on diesel fuel rather than petrol. While Mike could be mistaken, Boycie (a car dealer) doesn't correct him, and furthermore, the explosion shown wouldn't happen due to diesel not being explosively combustible in this way (from sparks and small flames). Quotes

Derek 'Del Boy' Trotter: She's a blinding bird isn't she Rodney?
Rodney Trotter: What Raquel? Yeah, terrific Del.
Derek 'Del Boy' Trotter: She's got a radiant smile. Have you noticed that?
Rodney Trotter: What, her radiant smile? Yeah.
Derek 'Del Boy' Trotter: I mean, when she walks in she lights up a room.
Rodney Trotter: Yeah. Most of your birds walk in and light up a fag.
