A classic episode of "Only Fools and Horses" from series 7. Although I preferred the earlier series with Leanord Pearce, the show was still brilliant at this point.
There is a school reunion. Del, Rodney, Trigger, Boycie and Denzil have all turned up in the bottom room of "The Nags Head" They have no idea who organised it. Then the most hated man in Peckham comes in, Roy Slater. They all have a rant at him, but he explains that since he's been in prison, he's changed. Eventually feeling sorry for him, the lads have a drink with him. They all go back to the Trotter's flat. They all have a good time and talk about old times. Then Raquel comes in. It turns out that Roy is her husband who she is trying to get a divorce from. After a row, Del knows he will have to be nice to Slater, otherwise he will tell people about the marriage and that in turn will see Del being treated badly. But things get good for Del when he finds a document which says that Slater is getting a good sum of money from the diamond smuggling he was involved in in the episode "To Hull and Back" about ten unheard of diamonds. Del will say nothing if Slater gives Raquel a divorce and leaves Peckham.
The great Jim Broadbent made his third and final appearance in this sitcom as Roy Slater. He first played him in the Series 3 episode "May the Force be With You", then was in the first feature length episode "To Hull and Back" and this was his final appearance. John Sullivan's writing is a strong as ever in this episode.
Best Bit: When Slater apologises to everybody individually for what he's done to them, they tell him to stick it, then this happens: DEL: What about that time when you planted thirty green shield stamps on Trigger and he got put away for eighteen months, SLATER: Sorry Trigger, TRIGGER: That's all right Roy
