That is not hyperbole. If you watched this show, you'd remember this episode as its best. And now, looking back, I feel it's the best episode I've ever seen. by the end of the hour you are in tears and equally heartbroken and in love with this show.
This episode showcases the strength of this show's strong cast better than any other. Evan Rachel Wood and Susanna Thompson deliver the best performances in the show's three years in this episode. But it is in the very final moments that you see why this one's a step above the rest.
This show was killed before its time and deserves to have its best (3rd) season released on DVD.
If you can find this episode online, watch it. You'll see what I mean.
