Lady Lawrence's chauffeur, Ernie Bennett informs the staff at Hatley that she's expecting a notable guest, Doctor Beeching, Mr Parkin ensures The Station looks incredible.
You could understand why the staff would be panicked by the arrival of Beeching, and the lengths they would go to, to ensure his visit was a success. We get several laughs despite the somewhat serious concept, Beeching would have been seen as a terrifying figure in the 60's.
Some good laughs, plenty of slapstick, with lots of falling over and fooling about. It's not a favourite, but it's good fun. 7/10
