The Way We Were (#2.2)

It is time to go back to school and Seth and Ryan try to reconnect with the girls again. Only Ryan finds out that Marissa had a relationship with DJ and Summer is now hanging out with Zach, a guy that also joins Seth's comic club. Hailey leaves to Japan and Caleb gets arrested while having dinner.

So we are back to relationship drama. I feel bad for Marissa, Ryan is such an annoying douche, he just takes off but is mad at her for going on with her life.

Great to see new characters. I like Zach and DJ, I guess Zach is some sort of a Luke replacement. He is a sports guy but all nice.

Sad to see Hailey go, but I am glad Caleb is arrested, this could be a fun storyline with Sandy getting him out of it.

Now that Ryan and Seth have returned to Newport, it's time to get back to school. The boys reunite with their former girlfriends but it becomes apparent that things will not be going back to the way they were. Caleb's legal troubles catch up with him, and Hailey has bad news for Jimmy.

Seth chases Summer all day, Ryan gets back with Marissa and brake up, all in the blink of an eye. Seth tells everybody at the Carnival that he loves Summer, while she is there with her boyfriend Zach. Maybe when Seth left everything behind and went to Portland, Summer finally felt how he felt all that time when she never even noticed that he does exist.

Marissa hooks up with the pool guy or whatever, and Ryan finds out about him.
