Storyline

Ryan finds himself truly out in the cold when he's suspended from school, shunned by Marissa, and even scrutinized by the Cohens, all of whom refuse to believe Ryan's claims that that Oliver is a dangerous sociopath and obsessed with Marissa. Ironically, the only person who believes Ryan is Luke, who agrees to help Ryan make a background check on Oliver to find any dirt on him. But when Luke reveals evidence to Marissa, and then Sandy, that some of Oliver's references from his old school are false, they refuse to believe Luke, especially after learning that he's been talking with Ryan. Meanwhile, Jimmy thinks his past will impair his ability to work in the business field again. Seth continues dating Anna who thinks Summer's presence around them is not a good thing. Things come to a head when Oliver begins losing his bland, self-control to lie when Marissa comes by to his penthouse to tell him that she not interested in a relationship with him. Then, he really loses it and Marissa sees... Written by Anonymous

Our modern "Rebel without a cause" gets himself in more trouble.
9 March 2008 | by (Romania) – See all my reviews

Changes are happening within the couplehoods of the O.C.ers. Lines seem to be blurred. Oliver reveals himself as he falls apart, but not before Ryan is completely left in the cold. Someone loses school, one loses work, two lose their partners, and one more loses it all.

In this episode Marissa continues on being really stupid and breaks up with Ryan, while Anna breaks up with Seth for obvious reasons. There is no chemistry between Anna and Seth, she is really like a female version of him. Seth gets so excited to spend time with Summer, he doesn't even bother to notice Anna is there also.

The good part is that Oliver is out of the picture... It's hilarious how such a cute guy with such a cool life can be so mentally sick.
