Ryan finds himself truly out in the cold when he's suspended from school, shunned by Marissa, and even scrutinized by the Cohens, all of whom refuse to believe Ryan's claims that that Oliver is a dangerous sociopath and obsessed with Marissa. Ironically, the only person who believes Ryan is Luke, who agrees to help Ryan make a background check on Oliver to find any dirt on him. But when Luke reveals evidence to Marissa, and then Sandy, that some of Oliver's references from his old school are false, they refuse to believe Luke, especially after learning that he's been talking with Ryan. Meanwhile, Jimmy thinks his past will impair his ability to work in the business field again. Seth continues dating Anna who thinks Summer's presence around them is not a good thing. Things come to a head when Oliver begins losing his bland, self-control to lie when Marissa comes by to his penthouse to tell him that she not interested in a relationship with him. Then, he really loses it and Marissa sees... Written by Anonymous

[first lines]
Sandy Cohen: You're not having breakfast with us?
Ryan: I'm not hungry. What do you want?
Sandy Cohen: Dr. Kim just called to let us know that you've been suspended indefinitely pending a disciplinary action if the school board will vote to expel you.
Ryan: I know you want me to apologize, but I'm not. Oliver told me right to my face that he wanted me gone so he could get to have Marissa all to himself.
Sandy Cohen: [scoffs] Then why would he drop the assault charges against you?
Ryan: [surprised] He did that?
Sandy Cohen: Yeah, he did. It seems to me ...

The Truth (#1.18)
6 September 2014 | by (Canada) – See all my reviews

Ryan tries to protect Marissa from Oliver but nobody believes him, except Luke who also finds out that there is no ex Natalie. When Marissa finds it out too Oliver goes crazy and has a gun but Sandy and Ryan come to help. Caleb makes Kirsten break up with Julie. And Anna breaks up with Seth because he is too into Summer.

Well they did it very exciting with Oliver at the end, but somehow I still can't be on Ryan's side for what he did. He was a possessive creep. As Melissa I would stay away from both. And the whole thing with the receptionist being Natalie was absurd, it is not the most uncommon name that one would go from there to think that her name is Bishop.

Sad about Anna and Seth. Seth and Summer together is just sickening. Why would he not want to be with somebody who likes the same things as him but with somebody whose IQ got to be below 50.

One moment was pretty interesting in this episode, the one between Luke and Julie. Is there something coming afterwards? That would be awesome!
