Storyline

Trouble brews for the gang when Marissa's younger sister, Kaitlin Cooper (whom is even more devious and amoral then Julie), arrives in Newport for a visit from her Montecito boarding school. Julie is finally forced to tell the truth about her living condition to Kaitlin and Marissa. Within a matter of hours, Kaitlin has hit upon Johnny and tries to get him and Marissa together despite knowing that she's still dating Ryan. Soon, some of Kaitlin's problems follow her to Newport involving her drug-dealing boyfriend Justin, and she fibs a lot to Ryan and Marissa about her problems. Meanwhile, Kirsten and Julie decide to start their own dating service, but the evil Veronica Townsend brings more trouble when she blackmails them to get her up on a date with Summer's father. Johnny, frustrated that he will not be able to go on a surfing tour, beings to distance himself from Marissa. Written by Anonymous

Mini Coop is back! That girl brings a fresh coolness to the show!
26 March 2008 | by (Romania) – See all my reviews

It's winter break and Kaitlin Cooper has returned home from her Montecito boarding school, Veronica Townsend feels that she must be set up on a date with Dr Neil Roberts and everything is happy and cool.

Ryan is still talking, that's a good sign.

Kaitlin Cooper is officially a strong character on the show, with body, brains, and also growing up to be quite the manipulative bi**ch. Mini Julie Cooper as her mother calls her.

Summer gives Seth a black eye, which was the highlight of their relationship in this episode. How dangerous Summer seems to be around Seth? Maybe it's Seth that makes her like that.

Marissa and Johnny fight and then are friends again, while Mini Coop is hitting on him.
