Trivia

Originally shot for season two, this episode did not air and was later shown in season three. Notable is Norm's girlfriend, Jenny, whom he was seriously seeing in season two, but mysteriously vanished with no explanation given to the viewers. To further complicate matters, this previously unseen episode doesn't explain what happened either, leaving the viewer to either believe it was never covered, or that there could be another episode that was never aired that tied it up. Goofs

Denby pawns off little Hector to Laurie after saying Danny can't take care of the kid if he can't speak Spanish, yet just a few episodes earlier, Danny was speaking fluent Spanish to reporters who were there to interview him. See more »

Quotes

Laurie Freeman: Did you really think you could hide this from me?
Norm Henderson: Ah, yeah, kind of. I kind of did.
[thinking Laurise had caught him reporting to the tabloid]
Laurie Freeman: Um huh, well you can't. 'cause you're really great with kids and now everybody knows it.
Norm Henderson: Oh! Ha ha ha ha ha ha!
[realizing he's not been caught]
Norm Henderson: Well, the way I look at it, you know, the way to treat kids is to treat them with respect. I think of them as tiny adults who are stupid.
