A very haunting episode of Night Visions
10 March 2016 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

I didn't get to see many Night Visions episodes but After Life with Randy Quaid playing Michael Doyle who lying in state, miraculously comes alive at his own funeral.

Night Visions was haunting and in-depth because of the dreams Michael had about a castle and princess, and the disturbing obsession Michael has about this much to the chagrin of his wife and daughter.

The ending is haunting, being the culmination of Michael's obsession, and then the twist which I never saw coming - Twilight Zonesque like in a way. The ending was somewhat analogous to A Stop at Willoughby.

The twist explains all, and makes you feel sorry for Michael Doyle and the opportunities lost.
