routine, but interesting, 16 February 2009

This is one of the many shorter episodes on season 2's Night Gallery, and isn't particularly memorable or anything special, but it's not terribly boring and it stars Pat Boone as well. Anyway, he plays a wealthy businessman who's looking to enroll his less than perfect son in a special military academy which from the onset looks relatively normal, but there is something else beneath the surface, as is typical for Night Gallery. Leif Erickson also stars as the academy's director, who's reviewing the young man's files to see if he "fits" the school's code, and look for a cameo by Larry Linville(Frank Burns from MASH). I won't spoil the academy's little secret(as I said above, it's not overly exciting), but the businessman finally gets the gist of the situation and needs to make a decision on his son's future at the academy. One nice aspect about this episode is that it's about 15 minutes long, so it'll be over before you get bored.
